From the Founder

Hi there!  I am Eric Bradshaw, one of the founders.  I published the original Directory of Real Estate book amid the backdrop of witnessing a business partner of mine buy a home for his family and discovering that he hired the wrong real estate agent which made the home transaction very rough for all of them involved.  Fast forward years later, he was doing another real estate transaction but this time he really did his research to find the perfect agent – it made all the difference and the deal went smoothly, that’s when I published my list of good agents.

Who we are

I am the author who originally published the Directory of Real Estate Agents (DRE) around 2008. This became an annual book that lists the best known agents from all over the USA.  USDRE combines my book with the business acumen of the USDRE executive team leaders.

The executives at USDRE founded multiple business beginning in the 90’s and worked with a number of fortune 500 companies.  These businesses combined sales with computers, which meant they were good generating referrals and making connections with people en masse.

How the USDRE was started

When my business partner bought his first home and hired the wrong real estate agent that I told you about (above), a light bulb went off and and idea was born.  I realized that there are MANY places to search online for homes, but there were very few places where you could search for agents, and none of them were objective.  Over the next few years I intensely curated a list of known reputable agents, many of whom I had professionally worked with.  I posted the list online as a downloadable book of sorts called the Directory of Real Estate.  The directory got shared and became VERY popular.  The analytics for the Directory astounded me at the number of people that were referencing my list.  The main goal was to give people good referrals to real estate agents.  To accomplish this, I gave the data in the directory to a team of really great people with the goal of making the data easier to search through by making an easy-to-use search engine.

That’s when the USDRE was created and The US Directory of Real Estate was officially launched using the data from my book.  From there, the USDRE executive team started working with Ph.d’s and graduate students to help create the unique Agent Match personality algorithm that analyzes people values, beliefs, and outlook on life to find people that work well together – this helps match buyers/sellers with the PERFECT agent based on the principals of goodness of fit.

Over the years, the USDRE team has worked with 10,000’s of real estate agents & generated 100,000’s of good connections that have resulted in 10’s of millions of dollars in revenue for people and their businesses.
